The Council aims to deliver a high-quality, innovative, and sustainable advertising solution that maximises revenue, enhances the public realm, and delivers measurable environmental and community benefits.
The Council anticipates that the contract will be in force for a fixed period of five years.
The Council would expect payments to be made quarterly in arrears, within 30 days of invoice, unless otherwise specified in the contract award.
The Council reserves the right to include termination and break clauses within the detailed Terms and Conditions issued to the preferred supplier.
North Shields Transport Hub Screen
A high-footfall location attached to the new Transport Hub, serving thousands of commuters and visitors daily. Offers excellent visibility for a range of audiences.
There is a digital advertising screen at the North Shields Transport Hub that has already been installed and is operational. The full capital cost of the screen and its installation has been funded by the Council, and there is no requirement for the appointed supplier to cover any CAPEX costs.
