Overview
The Youth Drama Programme is a cross-border, cross-community peace-building initiative for 90 young people aged 16–21 years, delivered in three tranches of 30 participants between 1 December 2026 and 31 March 2028. The programme is designed to bring together young people from communities across the border region to develop meaningful relationships, increase understanding of different backgrounds and identities, and build confidence through shared creative experiences. Participants will take part in a structured programme of drama-based workshops that use theatre and the creative arts as a medium for dialogue, collaboration and personal development. Through facilitated activities, participants will explore themes including identity, culture, belonging, respect, inclusion and positive relationships while developing communication, teamwork, leadership and performance skills.
