Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust are undertaking an open tender to appoint a contractor who can provide a personal dosimetry and environmental monitoring service to the Trust. The service shall support effective radiation protection, regulatory compliance, and occupational safety for staff, patients, the public, and the environment. The Approved Dosimetry Services provider must ensure a seamless transition from our current provider in terms of both monitoring and record keeping. There must be no gaps in monitoring or dose records, so cumulative doses for the calendar year remain fully and accurately accounted for.
We require a service which will provide personal monitoring to monitor both whole body exposure [Hp(10) and Hp(0.07)] and dose to extremities [hands/fingers and/or feet (Hp(0.07)] and eye [Hp(3)].
