The service will operate across Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest, supporting timely access to care, improving patient experience and ensuring that patients receive treatment in the most appropriate setting. The service is expected to include referral assessment and triage, Advice & Guidance (A&G), specialist outpatient consultations, diagnostic investigations, minor dermatological procedures and the ongoing management of both acute and long-term dermatological conditions.
The service will work collaboratively with primary care, acute trusts and other healthcare partners to provide integrated pathways of care and clear arrangements for onward referral where specialist hospital-based intervention is required.
