Overview
Historic England is commissioning a rapid evidence and gap review to understand how heritage assets, places and networks contribute to urban green infrastructure and climate resilience. The commission will synthesise existing evidence, identify relevant policy opportunities and barriers, and provide an initial conceptual framing of heritage as part of wider green infrastructure systems. The findings will provide a strategic evidence base to inform Historic England’s future research, policy development and cross-sector collaboration, and provide two case studies to support the work.
