Overview

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has contracted specialists in relocation services to support MoD civilian employees eligible for transfer allowances since 1992. The MoD hereby notifies the market of a potential upcoming procurement for employee relocation services. MoD civilian employee relocation provision is the supporting services offered through a specialised relocation company contract. The current requirements encompass two schemes; - a Relocation Introductory Scheme (RIS) - a Relocation Company Scheme (RCS) These provide services to the MoD and to staff authorised by the MoD to participate in such Schemes. The requirements cover services for moves of home (e.g. Home Sale, legal services, removals, estate agents, marketing of properties, partner career support etc.) and temporary transfers (provision of introductory rental services). The existing contract includes features such as a Guaranteed Sale Price (GSP) for the old home, protection against market losses, and assistance with purchasing new homes, expires on 30 November 2027. Ancillary services under the contract include valuers, solicitors, removals, estate agents, surveyors, and partner career assistance. Contract Access: The existing contract is accessible to Other Government Departments (OGDs) and Agencies (over 40 currently have access). Bespoke contract annexes provide for any specific variances in requirements and pricing for these organisations. Contracting Authority: The MoD is the principal user and contracting authority for these services. Future contracts will be awarded by MoD Commercial in accordance with MoD relocation policy. ** PLEASE NOTE: THIS PROCUREMENT WILL BE RUN THROUGH THE DEFENCE SOURCING PORTAL (DSP) ** Please follow the attached link for guidance on onboarding: https://contracts.mod.uk/esop/ogc-host/public/mod/web/user-guide.html
